Stephanie Sanders

Former D1 Softball Coach and Athlete

Hello, my name is Stephanie Sanders and I am the Director of Softball Training at Knocksville Lubbock. My love for coaching and developing athletes began as a division one, Big Ten, softball student-athlete at Michigan State University where I caught, played the infield and outfield. Before my new position with Knocksville, I have spent the last eight years coaching softball at the collegiate level, where I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by and connected to some of the brightest minds in the game and coach some of the most elite athletes in the country, ranging from All-Conference players to All-American players in sport and in the classroom.

My coaching experience:

  • 2015-2016: (DII) Saginaw Valley State University, Saginaw, Michigan
  • 2016-2018: (DI- Big East Conference) Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania
  • 2018-2020: (D1- Mid-American Conference) Miami of Ohio University, Oxford, Ohio
  • 2020-2022: (DI- Big Ten Conference) Penn State University, State College, Pennsylvania

My goal as the new Director of Softball Training at Knocksville Lubbock is to provide softball players of all ages with credible, reliable and positive training that will develop athletes to be the best version of themselves. I am passionate about creating a community that will continue to spring the great sport of softball forward! Hope to see you at Knocksville Lubbock soon!
